Dr. Stephanie Lopez, Industrial-Organizational Psychologist
A surprisingly simple way to transform interpersonal communication within organizations
Do you ever sit in ineffective meetings and notice that you hold back from sharing your opinion? Do you come across too abrasive even though you’re just “saying it like it is?” Do you ever struggle to communicate openly with others in your organization? Do you ever hold back what you really want to say or find yourself softening or sugar-coaching what you want to say?
In this session with Dr. Stephanie Lopez, you’ll learn:
- A simple model that highlights the difference between being brutally honest and truly open
- The three most common ineffective approaches we use in interpersonal communication
- The number one thing that holds us back from communicating effectively
- A framework you can use to improve the way you communicate with others
